Austin American Technology (AAT) will present at the upcoming SMTA STAR Forum, taking place July 15–16, 2026 at the Embassy Suites Kansas City Olathe in Olathe.

Hosted by SMTA, the STAR Forum brings together industry professionals to explore critical topics at the intersection of trade, research, and technology. The 2026 program will highlight advancements in electronics manufacturing, artificial intelligence, automation, supply chain resilience, and sustainable global trade practices.

Todd Rountree, CEO of Austin American Technology, will present “The Benefits of Cleaning Fabricated Circuits with Higher Pressures.” His session will examine how increasing spray-in-air cleaning pressures beyond traditional levels can significantly impact cleaning performance.

The presentation explores cleaning pressures ranging from standard industry levels of 8 to 80 psi up to 200 psi, offering a detailed look at how higher pressures influence cleaning rates and overall effectiveness. It also compares manifold pressure to actual impingement (cleaning) pressure across different spray nozzle configurations—providing a clearer understanding of how pressure translates to real-world cleaning results.

By contrasting high-pressure performance with conventional spray-in-air systems, the session will highlight both the potential advantages and the associated risks, giving attendees a balanced perspective on process optimization.
