Quantum Science, the innovation leader in nanomaterials development, will showcase its groundbreaking INFIQ® technology at Japan’s premier electronic manufacturing event.
Guests at SEMICON Japan next month can head to stand 5235 to learn more about how Quantum Science’s INFIQ® quantum dots will benefit high-performance SWIR image sensing.
The audience will receive a closer look at the world leading performance of Quantum Science’s solutions, as well as their applications for the consumer, automotive, machine vision, and bio sensing sectors.
Their exhibit is part of a stand shared with Quantum Science’s distribution partner in Japan, Nishimura Chemitech, that highlights emerging trends across the entire semiconductor manufacturing process.
SEMICON Japan will take place at the Tokyo Big Sight convention centre from 14-16 December.
Dr Hao Pang, CEO and Founder of Quantum Science, said: “With the world on the cusp of a revolution in imaging and sensing, we are seeing the list of potential applications for this groundbreaking technology grow day by day. Japan is one of leading markets for SWIR sensing technology and the opportunity to present our INFIQ® quantum dot technology at SEMICON Japan is incredibly exciting.
“We look forward to exhibiting at SEMICON Japan next month and sharing our insights into this developing field with other attendees.”
INFIQ® quantum dots are light sensitive nanocrystals that unlock highly efficient signal conversion for infrared sensors. The technology enables precise tuning of the size or bandgap of quantum dots to capture light from anywhere in the visible to infrared range.
Quantum Science’s INFIQ® quantum dots can be deposited in ink form which eliminate the risk of defects occurring during wafer-scale processing. This makes scalable, low-cost manufacturing possible.
