As part of the long-term planned transfer of knowledge and expertise within kolb Cleaning Technology GmbH, founder and CFO Georg Pollmann has passed on responsibilities to long-standing employees of the company.
From 1 October 2024, Markus Smolenaers, formerly Head of Application and Process Technology and with kolb for 19 years, will be the new Head of Processes.
At the same time, Christian van der Stein will take on new responsibilities as Head of Product Management.
The previous Technical Product Manager at kolb has been with the company for 24 years.
After 6 years as Process Engineer, Max Pollmann will take over the tasks passed on from Smolenaers as Division Head of Application and Process Engineering with immediate effect.
“Even though it will still be some time before I leave the operational business, it has always been important to us to ensure the long-term transfer of knowledge. I am therefore delighted that we can draw on potential from our own ranks,” explains Georg Pollmann.
