Emil Otto, the German flux specialist from Eltville on the Rhine, is presenting its new corporate design at productronica 2023 in Munich. In addition to a modernised logo, the entire online presence has been redesigned and all product information has been restructured.
In its more than 120-year history, Emil Otto has already gone through many corporate design adaptations. However, the new brand identity presented at the leading trade fair is probably one of the most significant innovations. “Together with our marketing agency Butter and Salt, we have revised the entire brand identity. Basically, everything is new now. Our logo has also been adapted, but retains the familiar look and feel,” says Markus Geßner, Head of Marketing and Sales at Emil Otto GmbH. In addition, all communication and marketing measures have been modernised and updated.
This particularly affected the website, which underwent a complete revision. “Due to the numerous developments and innovations from our company, a large number of products have accumulated on the website over the years. However, both the backend and the structure of the website were not designed for these amounts. A new concept was therefore necessary so that our customers could easily find the products they were looking for,” continues Geßner.
The product categories for electronics, metal processing and the solar industry are now clearly separated from each other. This allows easy navigation through the portfolio, quick and uncomplicated access to the product information you are looking for and a rapid data transfer. In addition, all product information can also be used as digital data sheets outside of the website,” continues Geßner. All brochures and product data sheets have also been adapted to the new design, and the trade fair stand at productronica in Hall A4, Stand 315 will also appear in the new design.
