MicroCare LLC will share their knowledge of PCB cleaning solutions at the High-Reliability Cleaning and Conformal Coating Conference running from October 5-7, 2021 in Dallas, TX.

The informative session will examine the importance of cleaning printed circuit boards to ensure their longevity and reliable performance.

Entitled ‘Cleaning for Reliability’, MicroCare Technical Consultant, John Hoffman, will discuss the types of PCB contamination and how to best remove them through benchtop and vapor degreasing cleaning processes.

He will answer some of the most common questions related to vapor degreaser function and how to choose the best cleaning fluid to use with it.  Hoffman will also provide scenarios to help attendees better understand how using the right fluids and methods help deliver your desired PCB cleaning results.

“Successful critical cleaning involves first identifying the contaminant and then selecting the best combination of cleaning fluid and method to effectively remove it. Balancing these factors properly can enhance cleaning reliability,” Hoffman said.

“The key is to improve productivity, and boost quality in a safe, economical, and environmentally-acceptable manner,” he concluded.

Hoffman has been working in the field of critical cleaning for more than 50 years. He is an expert on vapor degreasing and thermodynamics and helps customers improve their cleaning processes in industries as diverse as electronics, metal finishing, transportation, photonics, medical devices, and aerospace.
