Mek (Marantz Electronics) will showcase its advanced Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) technology at Productronica India 2026, taking place from 16–18 September 2026 at BIEC, Bengaluru. Mek will be exhibiting on the stand of its Indian distributor, ACD Renaissance, at Stand H4.C61.
Visitors to the stand will be able to see two of Mek’s AOI solutions designed to address different inspection requirements within electronics manufacturing. The PowerSpector desktop AOI system combines advanced inspection capabilities with a compact footprint, making it suitable for manufacturers that need high-quality automated inspection without the space requirements of a full inline system. The system incorporates Mek’s 3D laser measurement technology for accurate height measurement and detailed inspection of assembled PCBs.
Also on display will be the VeriSpector AOI system, VeriSpector AOI system, specifically designed for the inspection of Through-Hole Technology (THT) components before they enter wave or selective soldering processes. With inspection times of under five seconds, VeriSpector enables manufacturers to perform real-time assembly and placement checks, allowing for immediate repairs and defect prevention. The inline version of VeriSpector, ensures robust performance and compatibility with a range of automation options, making it a vital tool for enhancing the quality and efficiency of manual and semi-automatic assembly processes.
While the PowerSpector desktop and VeriSpector systems will be demonstrated on the stand, Mek’s wider AOI portfolio includes solutions for a range of electronics manufacturing applications, from desktop and inline inspection to 3D AOI and SPI. The portfolio is designed to provide manufacturers with flexible inspection options as production volumes, processes and quality requirements change.
