DELO now offers two customized solutions for stabilizing camera modules that feature larger sensors and lenses. DELO DUALBOND SJ and DELO PHOTOBOND FB product families provide first lens bonding to meet the demand for larger sensors and optics in the production of camera modules.

To ensure optimal performance of the camera system, first lens bonding is used to join lens packages accurately, improving optical power and compensating for thermal stress between modules of varying sizes. DELO DUALBOND SJ4758 and DELO PHOTOBOND FB4176 are two products recognized for their excellent adhesion in narrow bonding gaps, and effective stress-relief characteristics.

DELO DUALBOND SJ4758 offers rapid light fixation followed by a thermal curing process, making it ideal for opaque or shadowed areas. While DELO PHOTOBOND FB4176 ensures fast light fixation in just one to five seconds and provides a drier finish compared to traditional acrylate adhesives. Both products are perfect for passive or active alignment technologies, offering an adhesion strength of up to 30 MPa, even when cured at temperatures from 60°C and higher. These adhesives exhibit consistent shrinkage and adhere well to PC and LCP commonly used in camera modules.

“Our adhesive solutions provide high optical stability by combining fast processing with tension-equalizing adhesion. This supports efficient and sustainable manufacturing of advanced camera systems, fulfilling increasing demands for larger and more powerful sensors and optics,” explains Marc Kosiahn, Product Manager for Consumer Camera at DELO. “We deliver the flexibility and efficiency critical in today’s high-tech production environment.”

DELO DUALBOND SJ4758, DELO PHOTOBOND FB4176, and other adhesive solutions for cameras and optics will be exhibited at the China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) 2025 in Shenzhen, from September 10-12, hall 1, booth 1A83.
