Kurtz Ersa Inc., a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, will host its first-ever hands-on training courses focused on the Ersa VERSAFLOW ONE selective soldering system at its U.S. headquarters.

The training sessions will run November 9-13, 2026, at the Kurtz Ersa facility located at 1779 Pilgrim Road, Plymouth, WI 53073. The program is divided into two courses: Maintenance Training, which will begin at 1 p.m. CST on November 9 and end at 12 p.m. CST on November 11, and Application Training, which will begin at 1 p.m. CST on November 11 and conclude at 12 p.m. CST on November 13.

The Maintenance Training course is designed for engineers and maintenance personnel responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues and preventing unplanned downtime. Topics include machine overview and software functions, calibration, nitrogen and pneumatic systems, electrical diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and servicing key modules such as flux, preheat and solder. Participants will also receive hands-on instruction in troubleshooting machine systems, maintaining the conveyor and performing routine maintenance procedures.

The Application Training course focuses on process understanding and programming. Participants will explore machine capabilities and process parameters, flux, preheat and solder processes, lead-free solder alloy requirements, temperature profiling, and process limitations related to PCB and component designs. The course will also cover Ersa CAD 4 offline programming software and troubleshooting techniques to help achieve efficient cycle times, high throughput and minimal defects.

Both sessions are designed to provide practical, hands-on instruction and direct experience with the VERSAFLOW ONE. Each class is limited to 10 participants to encourage focused instruction and meaningful equipment interaction. Participants who successfully complete either course will receive a certificate of completion.
