Aven Tools, a trusted provider of precision tools and inspection solutions, today announced its participation in three upcoming SMTA Expos & Tech Forums this April, where the company will feature live demonstrations of its MicroVue™ 2.0 All-In-One Digital Microscope.

Aven will exhibit at the following events:

  • SMTA Dallas Expo & Tech Forum — April 7, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (CT) | Plano Event Center, Plano, TX
  • SMTA Arizona Expo & Tech Forum — April 21, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (MT) | DoubleTree by Hilton, Mesa, AZ
  • SMTA Huntsville Expo & Tech Forum — April 28, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (CT) | Jackson Center, Huntsville, AL

At each event, attendees will have the opportunity to see MicroVue™ 2.0 in action and learn how it supports inspection, rework, quality control, and process verification in electronics assembly environments.

Designed for applications such as PCB inspection, solder joint evaluation, and component analysis, MicroVue™ 2.0 delivers high-resolution imaging while prioritizing operator comfort during extended use.

Building on the original MicroVue platform, the MicroVue™ 2.0 introduces enhancements focused on usability and inspection accuracy. The system features a 13.3-inch integrated HD monitor, allowing operators to inspect boards without external displays or eyepieces—reducing eye strain and streamlining workflow.

A magnetic ring light with available interchangeable 365nm UV right light and sector control provides precise lighting flexibility, enabling users to highlight surface features, defects, and contamination. Additional refinements include a taller post with 0.5x lens support for increased working distance, fine focus adjustment for detailed inspection, and updated software for image capture, video recording, measurement, and annotation.

“These SMTA Expos give us a unique chance to show engineers and production teams how MicroVue™ 2.0 transforms inspection,” said Mark Kanpurwala, VP of Sales & Marketing at Aven Tools. “By combining high-resolution imaging, intuitive controls, and enhanced operator comfort, it’s designed to make PCB inspection, solder joint evaluation, and component analysis faster, more accurate, and less fatiguing—helping teams get reliable results with less effort.”

With these capabilities, MicroVue™ 2.0 supports consistent inspection results across production, engineering, and quality teams, helping manufacturers improve process control and product reliability.
