Kurtz Ersa Inc., a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, returned from a busy 2026 APEX EXPO, where the company connected with attendees from around the world and highlighted several new and existing technologies across its booth. This year’s event brought in 3,582 attendees, creating solid opportunities for hands-on demos and technical discussions.
Kurtz Ersa featured a range of equipment, including the locally made HOTFLOW THREE reflow oven, the new VERSAFLOW FIVE and VERSAFLOW 4 Core Edition selective soldering systems, and the SRO i-LINE vacuum/formic acid reflow system. Rework systems on display included the HR 600 XL, HR 600P, HR 600/2, HR 550 XL, and HR 550. The booth also included the Interflux ICSF Select6 selective fluxer and the i-CON TRACE hand soldering platform, now CFX-certified for connected factory environments.
The show also brought industry recognition, with Kurtz Ersa receiving two 2026 NPI Awards for the VERSAFLOW FIVE and SRO i-LINE. Both systems were recognized for helping manufacturers improve throughput and process control in selective and SEMICON reflow soldering applications.
Kurtz Ersa also used the event to recognize its sales partners. ELECTRI-REP, Inc. was named Machine Sales Representative of the Year, and PMR Representatives was named Rework & Inspection Sales Representative of the Year.
In addition to activity on the show floor, Joe Clure led three sessions as part of the technical program, including a paper on clean reflow processes using targeted cleaning methods, along with panel discussions on void formation and training approaches for increasingly advanced equipment.
“APEX is always a great opportunity to spend time with customers and talk through real production challenges,” said Ernie Grice, Vice President of Sales, Kurtz Ersa, Inc. “This year was no different—we had great conversations around throughput, process control, and what’s next for manufacturing.”
A special thanks to all visitors who came to our booth!
