In response to evolving manufacturing environments—from PCBA lines to cleanrooms, service centers, and educational labs—Renex Group has significantly upgraded its REECO industrial furniture configurator. This digital tool, integral to Renex’s modular furniture ecosystem, now includes new components, refined visual capabilities, and enhanced localization for North American users, simplifying the design of purpose-built workspaces.
Renex has broadened the configurator’s range by introducing innovative components such as the Premium Electric Plus electrically adjustable antistatic tables in three widths (1200, 1530, and 1830 mm). These tables offer height variability, which is particularly useful in multi-shift environments or when tasks require changes in body positioning. The configurator also now supports rack-mounted and hanging cabinets available in 750 mm and 900 mm sizes. Users can also integrate tool and space-management accessories, including perforated panels, container holders, template storage envelopes, plus vertical and horizontal cable ducts. Many of these additions—like footrests for ESD tables and deeper drawers—result directly from feedback provided by end users and industry partners. This continuous feedback loop underscores Renex’s commitment to practical, user-guided improvements in workspace design.
The updated configurator features a dedicated English–U.S. interface that employs inches rather than metric units, addressing a longstanding request from designers and engineers in the U.S. and Canada. Browser-language detection now automatically presents users with the appropriate units and language, removing friction in the configuration process. This feature is part of Renex’s broader strategy to increase adoption of REECO furniture across North America, particularly in industrial plants and training institutions.
A newly introduced “Display Quality” option allows users to determine the level of detail shown in the on-screen 3D model, improving visual accuracy for workstation proportions, cable routing, and accessory placement. High-resolution visuals benefit users who need tight spatial coordination, as they provide clarity during the design phase and reduce ambiguity when sharing configurations with Renex’s technical staff. In tandem with the auto-generated configuration code, this clarity streamlines estimating and deployment.
Perhaps the REECO configurator’s greatest strength lies in its direct connection to Renex’s manufacturing and assembly infrastructure. Each completed design transitions seamlessly into a detailed quote, and upon approval, becomes a precisely manufactured and delivered workstation. This integrated process ensures compatibility with ESD standards and allows for flexible configurations such as anti-vibration settings or cable-harness-ready canopy tables. REECO-configured workstations are now widely implemented in industrial facilities, R&D laboratories, service workshops, and educational centers—allowing users to tailor environments to their technical requirements and workflow priorities.
