Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. today announced the appointment of Mr. Sascha Kunzmann as the new President of Alps Alpine Europe GmbH, effective immediately. Mr. Kunzmann succeeds Wilfried Baumann, who will remain as Corporate Vice President of Alps Alpine Co., Ltd. and continue to oversee European business.

Mr. Kunzmann joined Alps Alpine in 2007 and has held various leadership positions within the company, in Sales, Business Development, Purchasing, and Engineering, contributing significantly to the company’s automotive business growth and developing new industrial IoT solutions. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Engineering at Alps Alpine Europe, where he played a key role in driving innovation and operational excellence. Since 2022, Mr. Kunzmann has also held a Managing Director role. In his new position, he will be responsible for the entire operation of Alps Alpine Europe.
