According to several sources, the proliferation of electric cars is spiking the demand for PCBs/PCBAs and the materials associated with them. Also, consumer product sales were very strong as many people were working from home in 2020. We’ve seen prices increase as much as 35%, and lead times that typically were three weeks are now five or six weeks.”
Despite this news, Kodiak is hopeful that with planning and patience, all their customers will be able to have their orders filled. Harlow added, “It is vital to inform all of our customers across all industries of these market-wide conditions.”
