Arch® Systems, the leading provider of machine data and analytics for electronics assembly operations, today announced the appointment of Georg Fuerlinger as Senior Account Manager in Europe. Based in Vienna, Austria, Fuerlinger will work with Arch Systems’ clients and strategic partners throughout Europe.

Previously, Fuerlinger worked at the Austrian Trade Commission where he was responsible for establishing Austria’s Innovation Office “Open Austria” in Silicon Valley. Together with his team he supported startups and established companies with their US market entry strategy as well as in scouting technology, strategic partners and investors. Prior to that he worked with StartX, Stanford University`s startup accelerator and was an Adjunct Professor at the New York Institute of Technology. He has published several books and journal articles and, as a consultant, has successfully implemented projects with startups, corporations and public agencies (e.g., United Nations) around the world.

Fuerlinger holds a PhD (The Impact of Human & Social Capital on University Startup Performance) from the Vienna University of Technology and holds a MS in International Business from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. A passionate traveler himself, he led educational tour groups from North America through Europe and managed a European entrepreneur exchange program.
