TAGARNO, a renowned Danish manufacturer of high-quality digital microscopes, will exhibit at the 2026 APEX EXPO taking place March 17–19 at the Anaheim Convention Center. TAGARNO will be located in Booth 4022, where the company will showcase its Work Center software alongside the TREND and T50 digital microscopes.
At the show, TAGARNO will focus on how Work Center enables manufacturers to standardize and enhance manual visual inspection processes across production, quality, and failure analysis. Designed to complement TAGARNO smart microscopes, Work Center allows engineers to define a process-driven inspection workflow once and deploy it consistently across multiple inspection stations—reducing variability, shortening training time, and improving documentation.
A featured demonstration at APEX will walk through a conformal coating inspection workflow aligned to IPC requirements, showing how Work Center guides an operator step by step through inspection. Using built-in prompts and fixed microscope settings, the workflow ensures consistent inspection conditions while minimizing operator interpretation. Image stitching is used to capture and combine multiple high-magnification images into a single, detailed view, enabling 100% visual inspection of large or complex assemblies.
As part of the workflow, inspection results are automatically documented. Images, annotations, serial numbers, barcodes, timestamps, and operator information are captured and compiled into a traceable inspection report, providing clear records for quality control, audits, and customer documentation.
Work Center is configured using a simple drag-and-drop interface, allowing manufacturers to build workflows without software development. Tools such as barcode recognition, image stitching, annotations, training guides, and custom reporting can be added as needed, making it possible to adapt the same microscope platform to a wide range of inspection tasks—from incoming inspection and conformal coating verification to rework validation and final quality checks.
TAGARNO will demonstrate Work Center live on both the TREND and T50 microscopes, showing how existing and new TAGARNO customers can expand the capabilities of their inspection stations without changing hardware.
