MicroCare, a global leader in precision cleaning, coating, and lubrication solutions, will be exhibiting at productronica 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for electronics development and production, from 18-21 November in Munich, Germany. At Stand A4 101, the company will display critical replacement solutions for 3M Novec™ Specialty Fluids, which are being discontinued at the end of 2025.

MicroCare will showcase their Tergo™ vapour degreasing fluids designed for high-reliability electronics cleaning. They are identical in performance to 3M Novec™ 7100, 7200, and 7300 for flux removal, contact cleaning, and electronics degreasing applications. With high density and low surface tension, Tergo™ fluids penetrate tight gaps and under low standoff components to lift flux residues, particulates, and light oils. The range helps manufacturers meet evolving environmental requirements while maintaining throughput and consistent, repeatable results. Tergo™  products are available in multiple pack sizes—from 1-litre containers to 55-gallon drums—to suit both pilot lines and high-volume production.

Scott Wells, Managing Director, MicroCare UK Ltd said: “With 3M Novec™ Specialty Fluids being discontinued at the end of 2025, we’re ready to help manufacturers find suitable alternatives. Our Tergo™  Fluids are designed to deliver the same or better performance standards that manufacturers depend on. At productronica, we’ll be on hand to demonstrate these solutions and answer any questions about making the transition.”

The company will also demonstrate its latest innovation, the Sticklers™ PRO360°™ Touchless Cleaner, which targets delicate fiber optic connectors on modern PCBAs using a precisely delivered high-purity cleaning fluid and pressurised air stream to remove contaminants without physical contact, providing over 2,000 cleanings per canister without damage.

In addition to solutions for high-volume manufacturing, MicroCare will feature cleaning tools and fluids that help rework and repair providers improve quality, speed, and process control at the bench.

The TriggerGrip™ Fluid Delivery System pairs MicroCare cleaning fluids with an ergonomic handheld applicator to deliver solvent exactly where it is needed. By directing fluid onto components and under leads, it ensures targeted application that reduces overspray and solvent consumption. The system promotes process consistency by enabling repeatable, operator-independent results across shifts and sites, while also improving operator safety by minimising hand-solvent and respiratory contact. It also supports compliance with ESD and workplace safety standards. At the bench, it enhances productivity by delivering faster, cleaner flux removal, resulting in less rework and higher first-pass yield.

For stubborn rosin and synthetic activated residues often encountered in rework, the SuprClean™ Heavy Duty Rosin Flux Remover provides a powerful cleaning solution. It rapidly dissolves baked-on flux, light oils, and particulates, leaving boards clean, dry, and free of conductive or corrosive deposits. Specially formulated to meet European regulatory requirements, SuprClean™ offers a bench-friendly option for repair environments. When paired with the TriggerGrip™ system, it delivers precise, efficient flux removal even on dense, sensitive assemblies, making it an ideal solution for electronics rework and repair providers.
