Kurtz Ersa Inc., a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, is pleased to announce its upcoming VERSAFLOW 3 – Level II Training Courses, scheduled for October 2024 at the Kurtz Ersa facility in Plymouth, Wisconsin. These training sessions are designed to enhance the skills of professionals working with the Ersa VERSAFLOW 3 selective soldering machines, focusing on both maintenance and application expertise.
Maintenance Training Course: October 7th – 9th, 2024
The Maintenance Training Course will equip participants with the knowledge to maintain and troubleshoot the VERSAFLOW 3 machines, helping to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Topics will cover a comprehensive machine overview, calibration for all modules, understanding of the nitrogen and pneumatic systems, and the creation of preventative maintenance schedules. Students will also receive hands-on training in troubleshooting common issues, adjusting the conveyor system, and working with electrical schematics and components. Upon completion, attendees will receive a certification.
Application Training Course: October 9th – 11th, 2024
This course focuses on mastering the application and programming of the VERSAFLOW 3 machine to achieve high throughput with minimal defects. Participants will delve into advanced process understanding and the capabilities of the VERSAFLOW 3, process adjustments for lead-free solder alloys, offline programming using Ersa CAD 3, and the proper techniques for managing flux, preheat, and solder processes. Troubleshooting and cycle-time optimization are also key components of the course, and successful students will receive a certificate of completion. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certification recognizing their enhanced technical proficiency.
