The Adaptsys Group will exhibit at SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026, taking place May 5–7, 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC). At Booth 1340, the company will showcase its automation technologies for inline carrier tape production and inspection, with live demonstrations available throughout the event.

Featured at the show is Re-flex, the world’s only inline carrier tape forming system and a patented technology designed to integrate directly with automated tape-and-reel (T&R) machines. Unlike conventional approaches that rely on pre-manufactured embossed carrier tape, Re-flex forms carrier tape inline, on demand, as part of the packaging process.

Re-flex enables manufacturers to produce embossed carrier tape as needed while supporting integration with existing manufacturing environments through an optional API interface. This allows for seamless control and data exchange with MRP systems, providing full traceability, real-time production data, and improved process visibility.

Also, on display will be the award-winning 3DInspect, The Adaptsys Group’s automated carrier tape inspection system. 3DInspect replaces manual inspection and documentation processes with automated measurement and reporting, simplifying the creation of Certificates of Conformance (CoCs). The system reduces the time required to generate a CoC from approximately 30 minutes to just one minute, while improving accuracy and repeatability.

“SEMICON Southeast Asia is an important opportunity to connect with manufacturers looking to improve efficiency and control in their packaging processes,” said Duncan Milroy, Global Sales Manager. “With Re-flex and 3DInspect, we’re addressing both sides of the equation—how carrier tape is produced and how it’s verified.”

While Re-flex and 3DInspect are designed to complement one another—one producing carrier tape and the other verifying it—each solution can also be deployed independently, allowing manufacturers to adopt the technology based on their specific production needs.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by Booth 1340 to see live demonstrations and learn more about how The Adaptsys Group is advancing automation in carrier tape manufacturing.
