CalcuQuote, a leading supply chain solutions provider for the electronics industry, in partnership with Banyan.eco, an AI-native electronics intelligence platform, today announced the launch of a new compliance agent. The compliance agent automates and simplifies regulatory compliance for EMS providers and their customers using a ground-breaking deterministic technology which provides both speed and precision.
The Compliance Agent addresses one of the most time-consuming challenges in electronics manufacturing: gathering, validating, and maintaining supplier compliance data across an expanding list of global regulations.
As compliance requirements continue to grow, from RoHS and REACH to conflict minerals, critical minerals, and emerging regulations such as Prop 65, POP, and TSCA. Many teams remain stuck in manual workflows, chasing suppliers, validating documents, and rebuilding reports for each customer’s request.
The new Compliance Agent replaces these manual processes with an automated, continuously updating system. It collects key compliance data points including REACH and RoHS status with certificates, material declarations, conflict minerals data with smelter information, critical minerals reporting, and broader regulatory coverage. The system validates incoming data, generates configurable compliance reports, and actively retrieves missing information through automated supplier communication.
Unlike static databases, the Compliance Agent continuously monitors regulatory changes and supplier status updates, automatically alerting users to impacted bills of materials (BOMs) and incorporating new data as it becomes available. This enables teams to stay ahead of compliance requirements without constant manual intervention.
“Compliance demands are only increasing, but the way most teams manage them hasn’t changed,” said Kaitlyn Tredaway, COO of CalcuQuote. “With the Compliance Agent, we’re giving our customers a way to eliminate repetitive tasks, improve accuracy, and scale their operations without adding more overhead.”
By automating data collection, validation, and reporting, the Compliance Agent allows EMS providers to reduce time spent on compliance activities by up to 75%, while improving data quality and responsiveness to customer requests.
Francis D’Souza, CEO of Banyan.eco, added, “Automated, end-to-end compliance is redefining what’s possible in the electronics industry. It delivers the speed and precision that modern operations demand. Powered by highly trained AI agents, continuously updated data, and a deterministic, hallucination-free architecture, it sets a new standard for accuracy, scalability, and operational performance.”
The launch builds on the ongoing collaboration between CalcuQuote and Banyan.eco, expanding the use of AI within electronics supply chain workflows to address both sustainability and regulatory compliance challenges.
