Following the milestone celebration of its 100th award, KYZEN continues the momentum with number 101—proving that for the company, innovation is not a one-time achievement but an ongoing pursuit. With this 101st award, KYZEN continues to build on its track record of delivering practical, high-performance cleaning solutions that help electronics manufacturers improve reliability, streamline production, and control overall manufacturing costs.
MICRONOX® MX2123 was developed to meet the demanding cleaning requirements of modern power electronics manufacturing, including IGBT modules and DBC substrates. The aqueous-based chemistry delivers powerful removal of high-temperature and no-clean flux residues while maintaining controlled alkalinity and built-in corrosion inhibition. This careful balance protects exposed copper, silver, and nickel metallization—critical for downstream processes such as wire bonding and long-term reliability.
Engineered for high-throughput production, MX2123 offers excellent rinsability, promoting rapid water break-free surfaces after rinsing and supporting faster, more consistent drying. The chemistry performs effectively at relatively low operating concentrations, simplifying bath control while reducing chemical consumption over time.
The chemistry is designed with operator safety in mind, avoiding unnecessary hazards while delivering strong cleaning capability. It also complies with key industry standards and environmental regulations, including RoHS requirements, making it suitable for manufacturers in automotive, industrial, and power electronics markets.
