Sono-Tek Corporation (Nasdaq: SOTK), a pioneer in ultrasonic spray fluxing technology and a leading manufacturer of precision ultrasonic coating solutions, announced today that it will showcase major advancements in ultrasonic fluxing at the 2026 IPC APEX EXPO, taking place March 17-19, 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
At the show, Sono-Tek will introduce the SelectaFlux 3, its latest selective ultrasonic flux spray system developed specifically for selective solder machine applications. The company will also highlight a new Flow Monitoring option for its SonoFlux Servo platform, expanding its portfolio of advanced process-control solutions for electronics manufacturing. Visitors can learn more at Booth 1720.
The newly introduced SelectaFlux 3 builds on the proven performance of earlier SelectaFlux systems, incorporating enhanced control features and improved process consistency tailored for modern selective solder platforms. By delivering a highly controlled ultrasonic flux spray, the SelectaFlux 3 helps manufacturers maximize top-side solder fillet formation while significantly reducing the overspray and splatter commonly associated with traditional jet fluxing methods. The system is a complete, ready-to-integrate solution that retrofits into all major selective solder machines.
Sono-Tek will also feature and display its new Flow Monitoring option for the SonoFlux Servo, designed to enhance flux quantity control, quality assurance, and data collection. Using a non-contact flow sensor, the system provides real-time monitoring of flux volume with an accuracy of ±15%, records dispensed flux volume per board, supports data logging for historical review, and generates active alarms if flow rates move outside defined limits. This capability is especially valuable for manufacturers focused on increased process control, traceability, and continuous improvement in high-reliability production environments.
Attendees are encouraged to visit Booth 1720 to learn more about the SelectaFlux 3, the SonoFlux Servo with Flow Monitoring, and Sono-Tek’s full line of ultrasonic spray fluxing solutions.
