KIC, the leader in smart thermal process technologies for electronics manufacturing, will highlight its newest profiling and process control advancements at the SMTA Space Coast Expo & Tech Forum on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, Florida.
Visitors to the KIC table can see how the company’s hardware and software work together to give manufacturers clear, immediate insight into what’s happening inside their reflow ovens—helping them maintain consistency, improve yields, and reduce downtime.
At the event, KIC will feature its Thermal Analysis System (TAS), an AI-driven platform that simplifies thermal profiling and process setup. Designed for fast-paced production, TAS automatically finds the best oven recipe for multiple assemblies through its Common Recipe Finder tool, cutting down on the number of profiles needed and shortening changeover times.
The Heat Map solution—now bundled with both the X5 and SPS profilers—includes Navigator Power™ optimization, which automatically identifies the best oven setup for process efficiency, and Process Window Index (PWI) analysis, which delivers instant feedback using a single, easy-to-understand score. Each thermocouple can be assigned its own unique process specification, offering precise thermal control across every assembly type.
“Our goal is to make process control simple and reliable, giving engineers the data they need without slowing production down,” said Miles Moreau, General Manager at KIC.
