Seica, Inc. exhibit in Booth 2515 at SMTA International 2025 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. The company will highlight two of its leading test systems: the PILOT VX XL, an automated flying probe system with an extra-large test area for oversized PCBs, and the PILOT BTP, a horizontal flying probe system engineered for EV battery testing.
The PILOT VX XL is a powerful solution for testing today’s largest and most complex electronic boards. Featuring a test area of up to 810 x 675 mm, the VX XL overcomes the size limitations of traditional flying probe systems, allowing manufacturers to validate large-format assemblies used in industries such as automotive, telecom, and industrial electronics. The system supports in-circuit and functional testing, combining speed, precision, and high fault coverage with the full suite of advanced measurement capabilities from the VX platform. Its robust structure accommodates thick and heavy boards, with optional support for panels up to 12 mm, ensuring accurate and repeatable results across a wide range of applications.
For lower-volume applications, prototypes, or non-standard battery pack geometries, Seica will also present the PILOT BTP. This horizontal system features a 1050 x 865 mm test area, four independent flying heads, and speeds exceeding 600 tests per minute. Designed for flexibility and adaptability, the PILOT BTP enables parallel, full-size testing of EV battery packs and is particularly valuable for NPI and pilot production environments where irregular layouts and evolving designs require fast, precise validation.
