From degreasing and deburring to classic component cleaning and ultra-fine or high-purity applications – the solutions presented by the exhibitors at this year’s parts2clean will be just as diverse as the tasks facing the industry. In addition, the attractive supporting program of the 21st edition of the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning will enable visitors to develop expertise in implementing their individual cleaning tasks reliably, economically, and sustainably. parts2clean will take place from October 7 to 9, 2025 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center (Germany).
The cleanliness of individual components is a crucial factor in determining the quality of products and whether they will function flawlessly. Not only does this make parts cleaning a factor that adds value to all industrial sectors, but it also means that the ability to clean components effectively and easily is a prerequisite for implementing new product developments. One of the aims is to achieve defined cleanliness specifications in a stable and economical manner, while on the other hand, stricter requirements for climate change mitigation mean that parts cleaning must be made more efficient in terms of energy and resource consumption. This presents companies with multiple new challenges. To remain competitive in the future, it will be important not only to know the current and future requirements for the surface quality of workpieces in the various industrial sectors, but also to implement solutions for improved sustainability and greater cost-effectiveness in parts cleaning. In addition, it is more important than ever before to ensure that cleaned parts are packaged and transported in a way that is appropriate for their degree of cleanliness. “With the world’s most comprehensive and up-to-date range of solutions for all areas of industrial parts cleaning, parts2clean is the ideal platform for information and procurement,” reports Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin, Project Director at Deutsche Messe. This is also reflected in the fact that all international market and technology leaders will be represented at the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning from October 7 to 9, 2025 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center.
Innovations, trends, and knowledge to solve the challenges
“Many of the companies will use their presence at the trade fair to show off new and enhanced solutions,” adds Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. As a result, of course, it is the exhibitors’ presentations that will make a visit to the trade fair a must for companies with their eye on the future. “But that’s not all – the sophisticated supporting program at this year’s parts2clean will also offer a wealth of knowledge and expertise on how to optimize the cleanliness, cost-effectiveness, energy and resource efficiency of parts cleaning,” notes the Project Director. Other topics to be discussed will include cleaning trends in high-tech and growth sectors such as the semiconductor industry and its suppliers, vacuum technology, aerospace, the defense industry, measurement and analysis technology, medical and pharmaceutical technology, sensor technology, new mobility, and electronics.
The integrated p2c.EXPERTFORUM, which is being coordinated by the Fraunhofer Cleaning division and the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT), has been an internationally highly prized source of knowledge for many years due to its character as a platform for professional development. The presentations over the three days by top-tier experts from industry and associations as well as from the scientific and research community will feature simultaneous interpretation (German <> English), and will be divided into a total of eleven subject areas. The agenda includes the basics of industrial cleaning processes and presentations on innovative products and services, as well as research highlights from the industry. Current developments, requirements, and benchmark applications will be discussed in sessions dealing with topics including sustainability and the circular economy, applications, challenges, and solutions in the high purity sector and for testing and analyzing cleaned surfaces. Another topic area will take a look at combined or extended processes and methods such as deburring and cleaning in one process and the functionalization of surfaces through laser processing.
The special “Process Chain Technical Cleanliness” show, organized jointly with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center), will examine cleaning in conjunction with the associated production processes. It will afford visitors the opportunity to follow the path to clean components step by step, thus providing an impetus for company-specific solutions.
One of the highlights of this year’s supporting program will be the presentation of the 4th FiT2clean Awards on the last day of the exhibition. The FiT awards the 10,000 euro innovation prize annually for outstanding achievements and new solutions to current challenges in industrial component cleaning. “Before the winner of this year’s award is chosen, all three finalists will present their developments,” clarifies Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin.
