In production environments, speed and process optimization are just as important as quality. Therefore, it is important to be able to program large panels or complex PCBA with a large number of different flash devices in parallel and quickly. That is why GÖPEL electronic has designed its Universal Programmer FlashFOX to be scalable: Depending on the programming task, several of the 4- or 8-channel programmers can be interconnected so that 16, 20, 32 or more parallel channels are available in increments of four. This means that even large programming tasks can be handled quickly and reliably.
The FlashFOX can be operated both synchronously and asynchronously on each channel: Either all channels process the same programming tasks, or each channel can flash a different module with different contents in parallel and at the same time. This is relevant, for example, when programming serial numbers on PCBA, which must be programmed in parallel but always be different. The FlashFOX can repeatedly retrieve the latest content or images from a central data server via streaming and WLAN. This ensures that firmware and programming data are always up to date and quality is assured.
The FlashFOX is the first programmer with WLAN connectivity, enabling easy integration into the IoT world and support for flexible Industry 4.0 implementations. The FlashFOX can be easily and securely configured, controlled, and verified via any web browser using the integrated web server, without the need for separate PC software. This enables remote maintenance of the programmers even at remote production sites.
