Eutect GmbH, one of the leading companies in the field of selective soldering automation for electronics manufacturing, will be taking part in Coiltech 2025 in Augsburg. At the well-known trade fair dedicated to electric motors, generators and transformers, Eutect will present its latest developments and solutions in the field of selective miniwave and laser soldering.

“Taking part in Coiltech offers us an ideal platform to present our company’s cutting-edge technologies to an international specialist audience,” explains Lars Iwers, Sales and Marketing Manager at Eutect GmbH. This will include mini wave soldering, which is a very precise and efficient selective soldering process. By combining non-wettable nozzle technology with a horizontally installed, inductive pump technology, this process guarantees the highest solder joint quality and process reliability.

The mini wave soldering module enables clean and reliable thermal stripping and tinning of coated copper wires in a single step, especially when soldering enameled copper wires, without additional insulation removal. The flowing solder melt reliably removes insulation, while the inert gas atmosphere prevents oxidation and minimizes solder consumption. A decisive factor for the efficiency of mini wave soldering is the individually adaptable nozzle geometries. Eutect offers a variety of nozzle geometries, including point, double point, line, matrix and, especially for enameled copper wire soldering, ring nozzles, which can be tailored precisely to the specific requirements of each soldering task. These customized nozzles ensure optimum solder wetting, reduce rework and enable the processing of complex tasks. With features such as redundant temperature control, constant solder bath monitoring and optional solder wave height control, mini wave soldering from Eutect offers a reliable and low-maintenance solution for demanding soldering tasks.

Another process that Eutect will be presenting at Coiltech is laser soldering. A key feature of this soldering process is the pyrometer-controlled laser power regulation, which enables precise temperature control at the soldering point with 10,000 measurements per second. In combination with the patented Sensitive Wire Feeder (SWF), a force-, path- and speed-controlled wire feed system, Eutect guarantees a 100% closed-loop laser soldering process. “Laser soldering offers maximum energy efficiency, minimum maintenance and maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications,” explains Iwers.

“Coiltech is a significant opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to the continuous optimization of soldering technology,” continues Iwers. “We look forward to connecting with our partners and customers and showcasing the latest innovations in the industry.” Coiltech 2025 will take place in Augsburg from March 26 to 27, 2025. Eutect will be presenting its product innovations at booth 2-A17.

About EUTECT

For over 25 years, soldering and joining systems have been developed, manufactured, installed, and programmed at EUTECT as well as at customers operating worldwide. The Swabian team of experts offers an extensive, constantly evolving module construction kit for process solutions in the field of soldering.

Process-related and commercially optimal modules for the task description will be selected from a wide variety of soldering-technology process modules and combined into proven stand-alone, revolving, or inline production designs for complete solutions.

The EUTECT module construction kit shows that a slim, individual solution comprising proven building blocks for a customer product’s task description can often be achieved via individual modules or free combinations.

A technologically comprehensive, innovative EUTECT technical center is available for optimal solution through evaluation or the manufacture of A-B-C prototypes ready for serial production.
