Essemtec, a global leader in adaptive and highly flexible SMT pick-and-place and dispensing equipment, with industry-leading All-in-One solutions combining jetting, placement, and inspection within a single platform, is proud to announce the official opening of its new U.S. Headquarters and Customer Demonstration Center in Woburn, Massachusetts. The milestone was celebrated during an official ribbon-cutting ceremony held on October 22, attended by Olivier Carnal, General Manager of Essemtec, the entire Essemtec USA team, representatives from Nano Dimension, valued customers, regional sales partners, technology collaborators, and members of the local business community who contributed to the establishment of the new facility.

Located at 2 Gill Street, Woburn, MA 01801, the new 2,500-square-foot facility represents a significant investment in Essemtec’s continued growth in North America and its long-term commitment to supporting electronics manufacturing with advanced solutions, technical expertise, and hands-on application support.

The modern headquarters combines office space, customer collaboration areas, training facilities, and a fully equipped demonstration center designed to provide visitors with direct access to Essemtec’s latest technologies. The facility currently showcases the highly versatile FOX Ultra All-in-One platform alongside the Tarantula dispensing system, with the full range of Essemtec dispensing valves available on-site for customer evaluations, process development, and application testing. A Lizard reflow oven will soon be added to further expand demonstration capabilities and enable complete process evaluations under one roof.

“The opening of this new headquarters represents much more than a new office,” said Olivier Carnal, General Manager of Essemtec. “It reflects our commitment to being closer to our customers, providing a modern environment where manufacturers can discuss their challenges, evaluate solutions, and work directly with our experts to develop the most efficient production processes. We are extremely proud to open this facility and continue investing in the North American market.”

Customer interest in the new demonstration center has been exceptionally strong. Even before its official inauguration, the calendar for demonstrations, application evaluations, and benchmark testing had already begun filling rapidly, highlighting the growing demand for flexible, high-performance manufacturing equipment and hands-on process validation.

The new facility has been specifically designed to support customers throughout their evaluation and development journey. Visitors can conduct live demonstrations using their own products, validate dispensing and placement processes, compare alternative manufacturing approaches, and explore how Essemtec’s flexible platforms can adapt to changing production requirements.

“The response from customers has been extremely encouraging,” said Frank Hart, Essemtec USA Director. “More manufacturers are looking for opportunities to evaluate processes before making investment decisions. This new center gives us the space, equipment, and environment needed to support these activities while creating a welcoming experience for customers and partners.”

The opening event welcomed a diverse group of guests who have contributed to Essemtec’s growth and success in North America. Among those in attendance were representatives from Nano Dimension, including Moshe Rozenbaum, Interim CEO and Matan Haim, VP Corporate Development; REStronics partners Hunter Adams and Scott O’Donnell from REStronics New England and Jarred Mandel from REStronics Metro; customers and industry professionals from the greater Boston technology ecosystem, including representatives from MIT; and several individuals who played an important role in establishing the new headquarters, including realtor Mitch Kumin and building owner Robert Yocabian. Their presence reflected the strong network of partners, customers, and supporters that continue to contribute to Essemtec’s success in the region.

Beyond the new East Coast headquarters and demo center, Essemtec continues to support customers throughout North America through its West Coast demonstration capabilities at Technica USA, where manufacturers can also experience the PUMA Ultra All-in-One platform and the Tarantula Underfill system. Together, these facilities provide customers across the United States with convenient access to demonstrations, process development support, and technical expertise.

The opening of the Woburn headquarters marks another important chapter in Essemtec’s growth strategy and reinforces the company’s position as a trusted partner for electronics manufacturers seeking adaptable production solutions, advanced dispensing technologies, and world-class customer support.

“Our mission is simple: to be the most trusted partner throughout our customers’ manufacturing journey,” added Carnal. “This new headquarters demonstrates that commitment and creates an outstanding environment where innovation, collaboration, and customer success can thrive.”
