SMTA Space Coast Expo 2026

The SMTA Space Coast Chapter is proud to announce that it will host its 2026 Space Coast Expo on Thursday, November 12, at the Melbourne Auditorium in Melbourne, Florida, bringing together electronics manufacturing professionals, technology suppliers, engineers and industry experts for a full day of networking, technical education and technology discovery.

The event will provide attendees with an opportunity to connect with more than 60 exhibiting companies representing a broad range of technologies, products and services for the electronics manufacturing industry. The expo floor will offer attendees the chance to explore the latest industry solutions while connecting directly with suppliers and other professionals from across the region.

In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature a keynote presentation and a technical program designed to provide insight into current industry topics and technologies.

Chris Larsen of Aerospace Technology Group will start the event with his keynote presentation “Advanced Manufacturing Integration in Small Business: Practical Approaches and Key Lessons” from 9-10 a.m.

The technical program will follow and will include two presentations:

• From 11-11:45 a.m. Chrys Shea, SHEA Engineering Services, and Shantanu Joshi, KOKI Solder America, will present “Solder Powder Size Types and Their Associated Print Capabilities in Ultra High Density Applications.”

• From 1:45-2:30 p.m. Adam Klett, Ph.D., of KYZEN will present “Predictive Bath Life Management: A Data-Driven Framework for Sustaining Cleaning Performance”

The free event will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by the keynote and opening of the expo floor at 9 a.m. A complimentary lunch will also be provided during the event, giving attendees another opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals.

The Space Coast Expo will conclude with an after-expo networking social from 4-6 p.m. at The Mansion in Melbourne (1218 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, FL 32901), providing attendees and exhibitors with an informal setting to continue conversations and build professional connections.

“SMTA Space Coast is excited to bring the industry together for another opportunity to connect, learn and see the latest technologies firsthand,” said Bob McGlynn, Vice President of Marketing for the SMTA Space Coast Chapter. “The Space Coast is home to a strong and growing electronics and aerospace community, and this event provides an excellent opportunity for professionals throughout the region to engage with one another and with companies supporting the industry.”

The event is expected to attract electronics manufacturing professionals from throughout Central Florida and the Space Coast, as well as engineering students and emerging professionals interested in the industry.
