Kurtz Ersa Inc., a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, in collaboration with its long-time Canadian representative Comtree Inc., will exhibit at EPTECH Vancouver on June 4, 2026. At this year’s event, Comtree will discuss the VERSAFLOW 4 CORE EDITION selective soldering system and the HR 600 XL rework system, both designed to give manufacturers more control, flexibility, and consistency on the shop floor.
The VERSAFLOW 4 CORE EDITION is designed for manufacturers who need dependable selective soldering without unnecessary complexity. It supports everything from stable, high-volume runs to fast changeovers in high-mix environments. The system combines a precision spray fluxer with integrated monitoring, bottom-side IR preheating paired with top-side convection heating, and a programmable-width conveyor to handle a wide range of board formats.
With VERSACAM process visualization and continuous monitoring of key parameters, operators get real-time insight into what’s happening throughout the process. The platform supports PCB sizes up to 508 x 508 mm and offers increased bottom-side clearance, making it easier to accommodate a broader mix of assemblies. Built-in monitoring for flux levels, pressure, and conveyor adjustments helps keep production steady and predictable.
Also featured is the HR 600 XL, a high-precision rework system built for large, complex assemblies where accuracy matters. It handles boards up to 625 x 625 mm and components up to 60 x 60 mm, with options for even larger applications. A motorized placement system delivers positioning accuracy up to ±0.025 mm, supported by image-based alignment for consistent results across jobs.
Controlled infrared underheating and interchangeable heating heads ensure even thermal distribution, while automated process steps and built-in verification help reduce manual handling and improve repeatability. The system also includes contactless residual solder removal to streamline rework and reduce operator effort.
