Keiron Printing Technologies, a global innovator in advanced electronics manufacturing solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with DISTRON CORPORATION, a leading U.S.-based electronics contract manufacturer. As part of this collaboration, DISTRON has become the first company in the United States to invest in Keiron’s industrial HF2 LIFT-based precision solder paste printer, marking a major milestone in Keiron’s expansion into the North American market.
This partnership formalizes Keiron’s growing presence in the United States through Keiron Technologies USA and underscores DISTRON’s commitment to next-generation manufacturing technologies that enable speed, flexibility, and sustainability.
The agreement was formally executed by Robert H. Donovan, Chief Executive Officer of DISTRON CORPORATION, and Brian Duffey, President of Keiron Technologies USA.
DISTRON’s investment reflects a strategic move toward fully digital, precision-driven manufacturing. Keiron’s LIFT technology enables:
- Fully digital, highly accurate solder paste deposition
- Zero setup and zero waste, eliminating stencils, tooling, and changeovers
- Rapid prototyping and accelerated new product introduction (NPI)
- Exceptional uniformity for high-density and complex assemblies
- In-house enablement of next-generation electronics manufacturing
- Support for reshoring through cost-efficient, sustainable U.S.-based production
With the installation of the HF2 LIFT printer, DISTRON positions itself at the forefront of digital transformation within the American EMS industry.
“Keiron’s LIFT technology gives us the digital flexibility, speed, and precision our customers demand,” said Robert H. Donovan, CEO of DISTRON CORPORATION. “This is the future of advanced manufacturing with precision solder paste printing, and we are proud to lead its adoption in the United States.”
“DISTRON is the first LIFT pioneer in the United States,” said Brian Duffey, President of Keiron Technologies USA. “Together, we are setting a new standard for sustainable, high-performance electronics manufacturing in North America.”
“This partnership represents a significant step forward for Keiron’s North American strategy,” added Paul Rooimans, Chief Executive Officer of Keiron Printing Technologies. “DISTRON is exactly the type of forward-thinking manufacturer we envisioned when expanding into this market.”
The collaboration between Keiron and DISTRON accelerates reshoring initiatives, enhances manufacturing efficiency, and introduces a new era of fully digital, zero-waste electronics assembly in the United States.
