Solderstar, a specialist in thermal profiling and process verification technology for electronics manufacturing, will attend three SMTA events across the United States and Mexico during October 2026, showcasing its latest solutions for monitoring, verifying and controlling soldering processes. The programme begins at the SMTA Long Island Expo & Tech Forum on 1 October, where Solderstar will exhibit with its local representative, Photo Chemical Systems. They will then join their Mexican distributor, Repstronics, at the SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum on 7 and 8 October, before exhibiting at SMTA International in Rosemont, Illinois, from 27–29 October.

A key focus at all three SMTA events will be Solderstar’s vapor phase verification suite, combining the VP10 Thermal Profiler and VP Shuttle Verification Fixture. Together, they support process verification from initial machine qualification through to production validation of complex PCBs.
Measuring 37 mm in height, the VP10 provides ten measurement channels across high-mass components, small passives and critical board areas. It integrates Solderstar’s SLX datalogger and supports vacuum-stage operation, long-duration processes and boards with higher thermal mass.
The VP Shuttle measures 12 fixed points across the vapor phase machine to assess temperature uniformity independently of individual PCB designs. Used together, the two systems help engineers distinguish machine-related inconsistencies from PCB-specific thermal behaviour, supporting machine acceptance, routine qualification and ongoing process control.
Solderstar’s wider portfolio of products will also be represented across the three events, supporting reflow, wave, selective and vapor phase soldering applications. The teams will be available to discuss specific production requirements and how additional process data can support machine verification and ongoing production control.
