KIC, a global leader in thermal process optimization and automated profiling solutions with more than 25,000 systems installed worldwide, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jos Timmermans as the company’s new Research & Development Manager, effective July 20, 2026.
Timmermans joins KIC to lead the company’s research and development efforts, where he will drive project execution, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and accelerate the development of next-generation solutions for electronics manufacturing.
With more than two decades of engineering leadership experience, Timmermans has led product development programs across vehicle electrification, battery systems, industrial charging solutions, and advanced testing technologies. His background includes engineering management, product innovation, prototype development, testing, commercialization, and the development of patented technologies across multiple industries.

In his new role, Timmermans will oversee engineering projects from concept through commercialization, helping ensure timely execution while supporting collaboration across development teams. His leadership will help advance technologies that enable electronics manufacturers to improve quality, productivity, traceability, and process control.
