Visit Yamaha Robotics at EFX 2026, Booth 9B50, Hall 9, October 6-8.

Yamaha Robotics will show visitors to EFX 2026, the Expo for Electronics Manufacturing, in Stuttgart from October 6-8, how advanced surface-mount automation helps companies grow their business and increase productivity.

“The EFX event concept lets us focus sharply on our 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION and the powerful new features we are bringing to our YRi-V AOI platform,” said Shuichi Imai. With the emphasis on face-to-face conversation, visitors can put their questions to our SMT and inspection experts at the booth and get detailed answers to help improve production performance.”

The 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION connects printing, dispensing, mounting, and inspection for ease of use and productivity.

The 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION multiplies the individual strengths of Yamaha’s automated printing, placement, and inspection systems, closely integrating the processes and connecting with the YSUP intelligent factory software tools. YSUP streamlines programming of all machines in the line, presents real-time production data in the customizable dashboard, provides troubleshooting assistance, and supports traceability.

The latest models in the 1 STOP SMART SOLUTION includes Yamaha’s highly automated YRP10 and entry-level YRP10e printers, and the high-speed YRM10 and YRM20 mounters. Building on their underlying capabilities, including YRM20 placement speed up to 115,000 cph (or 120,000 cph dual-lane), Yamaha has recently added important updates that boost productivity by relieving operators of time-consuming tasks. New YRM mounter options include automatic nozzle testing and pre-placement component type and tolerance checking, while the latest YSUP-PG programming software assists printer setup by automatically generating recommended parameters.

The YRi-V AOI system uses the same chassis that gives YRM mounters their solid foundation for accurate component placement. For inspection, this lets the camera capture high-quality images at fast scan speeds to enable confident judgements with high board coverage and fast cycle time. AI tools for the YRi-V prioritise helping with laborious tasks like component-library creation, programming, and defect classification, enabling faster new-product introduction (NPI) and increased productivity. Yamaha continues to add new features to enhance inspection performance, including on-the-fly program update, stopperless board transfer, automatic alignment checking for arrayed components, and AI Judgement Station to triage repair and rework.

Yamaha Robotics is at Booth 9B50, Hall 9 for the event at Messe Stuttgart from October 6-8.
