KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally responsible cleaning chemistries, is proud to announce that Chelsea Jewell, who serves as Manager of the KYZEN Applications Laboratory in Nashville, TN, has been recognized as an emerging leader by SMTA in the organization’s Next Gen 10 program.
The SMTA Next Gen 10 program recognizes and commends the next generation of leaders “shaping the future of electronics manufacturing through technical innovation, leadership, and service to the industry.” Jewell and the nine other young leaders recognized by the program will receive their Next Gen 10 awards this October in Rosemont, IL during SMTA International.
“I’m truly honored to be named one of SMTA’s Next Gen 10,” said Jewell upon learning of her recognition, “I would not be at this point without those at KYZEN who have invested their time, shared their knowledge, and encouraged me to keep stepping into new challenges. I’m thankful for the opportunities I’ve had to learn, contribute, and grow alongside such a talented community, and I’m excited to keep advancing our work in the electronics manufacturing industry.”
Jewell joined KYZEN in May 2012 as Application Lab Manager and, when not working cooperatively with KYZEN’s sales managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to serve customers and distributers, she actively shares her knowledge participating in electronics industry conference panel discussions and technical presentations.
“These individuals have distinguished themselves through their technical expertise, leadership, and dedication to advancing the industry,” said Sutharshan Suppiramaniam, chair of the SMTA Students and Young Professionals (SYP) Committee. “Their accomplishments at this stage of their careers are already helping shape the future of electronics manufacturing.”
