Green Circuits, a full-service electronics manufacturing services (EMS) partner to leading OEMs in aerospace and defense, medical and life sciences, industrial electronics, and semiconductor and AI hardware markets, today announced that it has successfully achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 Status following an independent assessment conducted by Sentar, Inc., an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO).

The achievement demonstrates that Green Circuits’ assessed information system conforms to the security requirements outlined in NIST Special Publication 800-171 Revision 2 and meets the cybersecurity requirements established under the Department of Defense’s CMMC framework.

As cybersecurity continues to play an increasingly critical role throughout the defense industrial base, CMMC Level 2 status provides defense contractors and government-related customers with additional confidence that Green Circuits maintains the policies, processes, and technical safeguards necessary to protect sensitive information and support secure manufacturing operations.

“Achieving CMMC Level 2 Status represents a significant milestone for Green Circuits and reinforces our long-standing commitment to quality, security, and operational excellence,” said Michael W. Hinshaw, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of Green Circuits. “Our customers trust us with some of their most advanced and mission-critical electronic products. This accomplishment demonstrates our continued investment in protecting sensitive information, strengthening our cybersecurity posture, and ensuring we are well-positioned to support the evolving requirements of defense, aerospace, and other highly regulated industries.”

Hinshaw continued, “Just as importantly, we are ready well in advance of the Department of Defense’s CMMC implementation deadlines, giving our customers confidence that they can continue to meet program requirements without disruption.”

With the November 2026 CMMC implementation milestone rapidly approaching, Green Circuits encourages organizations throughout the defense industrial base to assess their compliance status now. The deadline represents a critical step in the Department of Defense’s cybersecurity requirements and organizations that are not prepared may face challenges participating in applicable defense contracts. By completing this assessment in advance of the upcoming compliance deadlines, Green Circuits is positioned to support customers requiring a manufacturing partner that already meets CMMC Level 2 requirements.

The CMMC program was developed by the U.S. Department of Defense to enhance cybersecurity across the defense supply chain and safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Organizations that achieve CMMC Level 2 status have demonstrated implementation of the security controls required to protect sensitive information within the scope of the assessed environment.

For Green Circuits customers operating in defense, aerospace, and other security-sensitive markets, the achievement further validates the company’s ability to serve as a trusted manufacturing partner while meeting increasingly stringent cybersecurity expectations.

In addition to its cybersecurity initiatives, Green Circuits continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies, engineering expertise, quality systems, and supply chain resilience to help customers accelerate product development and bring innovative electronic products to market with confidence.
