Partnership forged to innovate in controlled environments

A new strategic alliance, Professional Partners for Controlled Environment (PP4CE), has been established to create an international platform for innovative turnkey solutions in controlled environments.

The need for hygienic, easily cleanable and air-conditioned rooms is increasing – whether it is cleanrooms for the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry, high care facilities for the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food industry or general laboratories in the chemical sector. In addition to a growth in demand for Controlled Environment (CE), the global regulatory landscape is becoming stricter and risk management is becoming more important. Senior management has to spend more time focussing on:

  • Maximising safety and minimalizing environmental risk
  • Optimising cost control
  • Maximising availability

Professional Partners for Controlled Environment

Under the name PP4CE (Professional Partners for Controlled Environment) the collaboration includes experts from across a range of technology areas, including STULZ GmbH, one of the world’s market leaders in energy efficient temperature and humidity control solutions for mission critical applications, as well as general HVAC technology; and Brecon International B.V., a well-known specialist Dutch company, representing over 25 years of experience in the cleanroom construction industry. Other partners include:

  • Camfil, a global leader in the air filtration industry;
  • Assa Abloy, global supplier in door entrance technology;
  • Deerns, an engineering consultancy;
  • Bolidt, experts in producing and applying innovative synthetic floors
  • Mennens Cleanroom Cranes, a manufacturer of clean hoisting equipment;
  • Van Aken Architects, a provider of architect services in the field of controlled environments;
  • Denios, specialists in laminar and cross flow booth units and LAF cabinets
Partnership forged to innovate in controlled environments
The need for hygienic, easily cleanable and air-conditioned rooms is increasing - whether it is cleanrooms for the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry

With this combined expertise and wide global network, the PP4CE partners will create an international platform for this ever-growing Controlled Environment sector. The client will have a single point of contact, who will supervise and manage the entire design qualification process up to and including the implementation of the commissioning and qualification plan.  This will ensure there is no loss in time, no need to communicate with different parties; and a clear agreement on what is required and to be delivered. Streamlining maintenance and improving uptime

PP4CE responds to the challenges of this rapidly growing market, with high-quality, cost-effective, standardised technology, as well as professional support – from the initial planning stages and feasibility study, throughout the design qualification process, to the final commissioning and installation. Using global standardised architectural and technical concepts offers advantages in terms of maintenance, as well as streamlining spare-part management. This means that costs are not only reduced, but the risk of downtime for critical applications is also minimised. PP4CE is being introduced now (May 2018) and will be presented globally, as a sponsor of the International Symposium on Contamination Control (ISCC ’18) in The Hague, Netherlands, 23-26 September 2018. Later this year the alliance will be attending the EHEDG World Congress (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) in London 21 and 22 November.
